Joshua Lee majored in Biological Sciences at Vanderbilt University and earned his Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from Virginia Tech. Eager to utilize his scientific background in the legal field, Joshua attended the University of Washington School of Law where he was named a Thurston Legal Scholar and served on the Food Law Society board and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
While in law school, Joshua was an intellectual property intern for the University of Washington and a NASDAQ-listed medical device manufacturer. Additionally, Joshua worked with a team of law students to prepare reports for Washington state legislators regarding legal issues in emerging technologies.
Following law school, Joshua practiced intellectual property prosecution and civil litigation in Kailua-Kona, Hawai'i. Joshua is admitted to practice in Washington state, Hawai'i, and the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
During his free time, Joshua enjoys watching basketball, learning guitar, and cooking Korean food.
