Arthur Connors, Esq.
Employment | Business
Arthur Connors has represented business owners in a wide variety of employment and business disputes, ranging from wrongful termination and discrimination claims, to wage and hour class action lawsuits, to breach of contract and lease disputes. In addition, Arthur has significant labor experience, having negotiated and drafted Collective Bargaining Agreements, resolved unfair labor claims with the National Labor Relations Board, and helped employers navigate a myriad of union grievances. A polished public speaker, Arthur has often been asked by his corporate clients to provide presentations to their management teams on legal compliance matters or to preview upcoming changes in law.
Arthur is known for his incisive legal analysis and research acumen, which enables him to quickly cut through the noise to identify what facts and legal issues will be dispositive in resolving any given dispute. Arthur uses this analysis to cost-effectively guide discovery and to provide his clients with a clear-eyed assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of their legal positions. While never shying away from a fight, Arthur is always realistic about the range of possible outcomes, and he is a strong advocate for using direct negotiations and alternative dispute resolution approaches whenever appropriate.
Before practicing law, Arthur was a private test-prep tutor and teacher for several years, working with hundreds of young adults to help them improve their scores on the SAT, ACT, and LSAT exams. In that role, Arthur honed his ability to explain complicated reasoning and advanced test-taking strategies in clear, conversational language – skills he now uses to advise and advocate for his business clients.
